Senior Human Resources Generalist
Our manufacturing client is seeking a Senior Human Resources Generalist for their team. You’ll serve as the face of HR for the company, managing daily HR functions across all business locations. This full-time, direct-hire role is perfect for a confident and process-oriented professional with at least seven years of experience.
- Responsibilities of the Senior Human Resources GeneralistAssist with recruitment, hiring, onboarding, performance management, and employee engagement and retention activities
- Administer benefits
- Respond to internal and external inquiries and requests
- Handle workers’ compensation claims and leaves of absence
- Assist with employee relations issues
- Maintain files, prepare reports, and enter HRIS data
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
- Perform additional tasks and special projects as required
- Qualifications of the Senior Human Resources GeneralistAssociate degree in Business, Human Resources, or related degree/field
- 7+ years of HR experience
- 2+ years of general office experience
- Basic knowledge of local, state, and federal requirements pertaining to health and welfare plans, leaves, workers’ compensation, or OSHA regulations
- High attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple projects in a cross-functional environment
